Introduction

Muscat Eye Laser Center was jointly designed and commissioned by Mr. Sameer Al Awam and Dr. Maria Clara Arbelaez. We opened our doors to the public on May 1st, 2002.

We are equipped with the latest state of the art technology to be able to provide the best treatments that are customized according with the patient optical needs creating extremely accurate outcomes in terms of quantity and quality on the final visual acuity. Means vision more than 20/20, better night and driving vision and remarkable improvement on the color contrast sensitivity.

We have an important international recognition, due to the standards on quality of service and results that are documented extremely high. We are regularly visited by international Refractive surgeons and Professors who are looking to be trained on how to improve their techniques and see the latest approach on refractive surgery as well as how to enhance their facilities with the latest state of the art technology that MELC is equipped with.
