Phakic Intraocular Lens Surgery
In the Phakic IOL procedure, an intra-ocular lens is placed between the iris and crystalline lens without removing the natural lens of the eye, retaining the natural focusing capability of the eye for near focusing tasks. This surgical procedure corrects nearsightedness and far-sightedness where the surgeon injects a lens that can completely correct the vision problem.
