Dr. Maria Bernardita Sekito was born in the Philippines. She has two years experience working as an Ophthalmologist, treating different ocular diseases and performing various procedures like Cataract and Glaucoma surgeries. She had her Pre-medical course in the University of the Philippines and had her training in Ospital ng Makati, Philippines. She has participated in different courses and seminars, diligently updating her knowledge. Her researches include various papers in Biochemistry, particularly in the subject of “Amino Acid Determination”, and Correlation of Age and Retinal Fiber Thickness using the GDX Nerve Fiber Analyzer. She is also currently a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
